Base Modified Setup: As was mentioned before, this setup is good for most racers who are running modifed motors. Shocks: 60 wt oil (Associated or Trinity), #2 pistons Front: Yellow springs, stock shock positions (A-1) 2 degrees negative camber Stock caster and kick-up Toe-in: 1 degree Camber link in stock position (U-2) Rear: White springs, stock shock positions (A-2) 1.5 degrees negative camber Stock toe-in Camber link in stock postition (#2) Ride Height: 4-6mm front and rear, or slightly nose-down This is a setup for saddle pack batteries and no one-way diff or pulley installed. This setup has proven very good on surfaces ranging from indoor high-traction asphalt to outdoor dusty asphalt, so it should work great as a starting point for most racers running modified motors (the racers running this setup have used 9 turn to 12 turn motors with no major changes in performance). If you want more steering, use a lighter shock oil in the front. If you want a LOT more steering, move the front upper arm inside mount to the bottom hole (L-2). Remember that you will need to use the proper tires and inserts for the track! Good luck racing!
